Overview of Project A medical device manufacturer sought the expertise of the ISIS professional team to assist in developing a physician training program. The session was aimed to promote the Company’s latest product – a laparoscopically applied device to promote weight loss. Project Details In order to facilitate market penetration of the product, a physician training session was developed which consisted of a series of lectures followed by lab practice with the device in an animal model. ISIS offered the training session on a Saturday and marketed the event to attendees of the American College of Surgeons program that was being held in San Francisco that year. Outcome of Project Due to the successful physician training and orientation to this device by ISIS Professionals, our client has emerged as a leader in minimally invasive approaches to weight loss and is now considered an alternative to bariatric surgery.
