Jon Cammack is the President and CEO of ISIS Services, and leads the organization in all strategic and operational activities. Jon has significant leadership experience, as well as deep technical expertise in the design and delivery of non-clinical safety testing for the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries.
Prior to joining ISIS Services, Jon spent nearly 15 years at Baxter Healthcare, most recently serving as Vice President for Baxter’s global R&D organization, Technology Resources. In this role, he held managerial and budgetary responsibility for a multifunctional research enterprise comprised of dedicated technical organizations. During his career at Baxter, Jon served on the Global Leadership Team and Baxter’s Innovation Council, the forum responsible for assessing strategic R&D initiatives and core technical competencies across the company.
In 2007, Jon was elected to co-chair the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for ISO Technical Committee 194, the international organization that develops standards for medical device, drug-device and biologic-device combination products.
Jon also serves on the advisory boards for the Biotechnology programs at the University of Illinois Medical School, and Northwestern University’s Center of Excellence in Nanotechnology Cancer Research. Jon has led research initiatives and taught lab coursework at the University of Chicago, University of Kansas, and the University of Central Missouri. He is the author or co-author of approximately 100 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and abstracts, and has won several research awards and grants.
